Hey guys...Firstly many thanks for your good wishes..much appreciated...Any confusion as to the nature/extent of my injuries is totally my fault... I posted on FB on Saturday about my crash and that I was home in pain and resting..Over night my ankle swelled up and turned a nice shade of blue...although I was assessed at the time of the crash and having twisted/hyper extended various ...I didn't like the look of things so off to the ER I went..

It transpires I have a fractured wrist...Fractured ankle bone and a groin strain.... so whilst extremely painful these are injuries that can heal with a few weeks of rest...

Thanks again for all the Txts/emails/FB messages and calls.... I was overwhelmed and very pleased by all the kindness shown... :)

glad to see your name again here , what doesn't kill you make you stronger.

A little confused, is he banged up with twisted ankle or broken leg and arm?

Or all of the above.

Just hoping he isnt broken up too bad.

All the above.

He's probably more pissed about the bike than anything else.

So more importantly:D
What's the prognosis for the bike??

Ok Steve, no one else has asked, what on earth were you doing with your bike that you got a groin strain!! EEK! ;)

Just kidding, get well, quick, can always fix the bike.

Chris

Aww, man that sucks man! I've been there a few times people call me crash and I'm not sure what brand I haven't destroyed yet lol get well dude!

I have no idea to what you refer??.....

Didnt you post of a video of a slow speed rear kick out last month with traction control not kicking in ?

Maybe it was someone else. Cold pavement and just a hair to much throttle from a intersection.

Get well STW. I hear Gunny makes a good nurse, so feel free to give him a call.:p

Serious heal up, and let us know if there is anything we can do to help!

Time for an R! Or if someone else was involved and had good insurance, a Superleggera!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Try not to get hooked on the pain meds ;)

Glad you're ok Steve, hope the bike's not too banged up! Many of us have been there tumbling across the ground and all you can think about with every impact is "I hope the bike's OK..." :)
