I finally bit the bullet and bought the adjustable mirrors from moto science. I havent installed them as of yet because my bike is in the shop for warranty work. The bike was lurching forward when i gave it throttle then went to normal and the same back and forth 3 times each until it stalled on the highway and wouldnt start.

At any rate the mirrors I just got in look just like stock except the entire mirror housing is actually adjustable instead of just the mirrors. They have the turn signals built in and come with all the wiring to mount them. Cant wait to put them on and actually adjust my mirrors by holding the entire mirror housing in my hand instead of pushing the mirrors with my fingers. Quality looks really good. Will post pics once I install them. Instructions look straight forward. These are the ones I just received. Ducati 959/1299 Panigale Matte Black LED mirrors 7511/12-Pair

Has anyone seen these available in the UK or imported from this USA site?

I have had Motoscienc for about 3 or 4 years. Henri provided great service when I had him send some to Australia.

Anyone care to comment on the vibration from them, can you see more than OEM?

No vibrations and I think I can see a bit more. They seem slightly larger but not in an obnoxious way to take the look away from the bike.

Yeah, they keep falling off.

Im a crappy mechanic. So I let my friend who is a mechanic ride all my bikes as long as all my bikes are in running condition. All my parts get put on for free and he fills up the bike with gas once he brings it back even if he got the bike with fumes in it. Still cheaper than him buying the bikes.

That being said even while taking 2 or 3 beer breaks it took him 45 mins to install the mirrors. They are very simple to install. No soldering needed. Comes with crimps to attach the wire to wire that are needed. The LED turn signals are brighter than stock and if Im not mistaken have an extra LED light up top on the corner. Ill post pics of them tomorrow. Best part about these mirrors is that not only does the mirror housing move to adjust your view instead of that stupid design ducati made where you use your finger to only move the mirror around. But the actually stalks move also allowing you to move the mirrors flush against the bike so they dont stick out if you need more room. Or if you hit a car while white lining the stock mirrors can crack off. These will just move . I am not an advocate of white lining. I am not telling people to white line. The comment above was for entertainment purposes only. White lining is dangerous and should not be done because it is against the law. However if a Smart for 2 police vehicle sees you white lining and on his speaker yells red bike pull over because he saw you white lining and you do stop. Please hand in your motorcycle licence. Sell your motorcycle and all your equipment :D

By assembled, you mean the kit, wiring, connectors etc you supply. Obviously not the mirrors themselves, as they are mad by FAR in Italy.

I've installed those mirrors on my 2016 1299. They don't vibrate as much as the stock mirrors but they vibrate a lot. I tried filling them with silicone to give them some more mass to reduce vibration, but it didn't help. I eventually threw them away. They do adjust, but not in a way that is useful for lane splitting. For lane splitting, you need a mirror that can be pulled back and then thrust forward, where it locks into the same position. These mirrors have no easily repeatable repositioning.

I did buy some Moto-Science mirrors that have worked better than anything else (including CRG bar ends). They are the Viper mirrors for the 1299
moto-science.com/product/viper-fairing-mirrors-722930-pair-by-moto-science]Viper Fairing Mirrors 7229/30 -pair . They still vibrate to the point where it is hard to discern a cop at more than 50 yards. The mirrors are on adjustable rails. If you adjust the mirrors to their shortest, and trim off the remaining "Wolverine Spikes", they vibrate the least. You have to look between your arms and torso, but it's OK, and the mirrors are short enough that they make lane splitting easy.

Let me know how it works out (regarding your bike lurching and then stalling on the highway)...Mine does it often. * If you are going steady at say 70 mph and it suddenly starts bogging down and threatens to stall you can roll off the throttle a little bit then it will sometimes clear out and run better But not all the time.. I have been through hell trying to get mine fixed and since it is an erratic condition it invariably doesn't do it when the mechanic rides it etc..

Just installed mine - definitely less vibration than the stockers, much clearer rear view and also more compact (plus fold away) for easy garage parking - recommended

Yep, they are great. Fell off at the lights on Saturday, boot caught in the blasted heel guard, and the mirror didn't break off!

Cheers
