So, I was finally able to get another bike to replace the one that was totaled in January. I have a wife and three kids and am the sole source of income. Because of that, I wasn't expecting to be able to get one until next year at tax time. Earlier in the week my wife told me she made a financial decision without me. She showed me loan terms she applied for and some deals my dealer(AMS) had. I was not expecting that at all.

Knowing I would have a year to buy another bike, I had really given this some thought. I have always loved my crotch rockets and superbikes, but my riding style has always been more of a touring or just bebopin around. I am now 37 so, I wanted something more tour friendly, but still sporty. So, it led me to the Multistrada. AMS had a 2015 touring for a good price. So here are the pics to prove it happened! A big thanks to Marty for walking me through the bike. It was really cool that he remembered me.

Thanks guys. Marty assured me the soul of the Multistrada was a superbike. And he was right. That thing will move!

Congrats! That's was awesome of your wife to make that financial decision! She's a keeper, now get her out on that Multi with you to share that new ride.

the MTS is the best bike in the Ducati line up, I would get rid of any of my bike except the MTS, get some goretex gear for sure if you want to do some touring.welcome to the long distant club.

Esmirna, nice collection of bikes you have there. I definitely plan on doing some long distance riding with friends.

Congratulations, as you can see from my signature, I have a few bikes, my '15 Multistrada has the most miles on it, that should indicate what I think of this bike, I absolutely love this bike. And the majority of those miles are twisties.

AMS is great, bought my last two bikes from them. This is the best dealership I've had experience with in the past 40 years of motorcycling. First class operation from Sales to Service.

I agree with that. To anyone in the Dallas area or close by, GET YOUR BIKE FROM AMS. Here is what happened to me and how AMS handled it. I got the bike home Saturday. That night took it for a ride and smelled antifreeze. I got home and sure enough, it had developed a leak from a hose. I called today and was told that it would be under warranty, and that the transport truck would be on its way in 15 minutes. I am 2 hours away. That was awesome. They have definitely taken care of me every time I have needed them!

Your wife sounds ace! I followed a multi at silverstone last year, the bloke on it was leaving big long darkies out of every corner. I couldn't keep up on my daytona 675, on the hangar straight he was gone. Very impressed.

It is most certainly fast. I look forward to having lots of fun on it!:D
