Another fiddly job, which once completed, my wife asks me if it was more difficult than I expected.

My response was "no, pretty much all Ducati jobs are more difficult than expected"

I think Ducati have a cheek calling it "removable for track use" .... 4-bolts, a rubber bung and 3-connectors that are very difficult to stow away  I think not.

So, some pics:

Hi, Which Rear Stand is that?

Sorry for bring up such an old thread, but one quick question about the DP tail tidy. The description reads that it is "easy to remove for the track."

Just how easy is it? Does it require taking off the cowl and removing the four bolts still?

4 scews

I pop off my seat and unclip the wires there under the ECU.

easy peasy.

I like the diamond shape of them, it kind of goes with the pointed tail.

Did you really just say "easy peasy"

Put the same thing my Tri with Euro signals. Looks great.

I debated all others and for safety I decided on the DP.

No. Has lower hosing that hides the wires and plugs and is attached with the 4 bolts inside the tail. Rest of the plate holder is attached using 4 screws on the outside into the housing. Remove this and unplug the wires and ready for the track.
