Don't change your mind because of anything you have read on this forum or any other. From personal experience, I was second guessing my choice with all the less then positive reviews and issues with heat etc.

I 100% agree with you, I actually canceled my order because I was thinking hmmm there are a few issues...

But I took ownership today and are 100% happy.. well maybe 98% my bum hurts on that seat, but if it was 100% perfect it would be boring.
Oh yeah I started off in Wet mode and changed it 2 minutes later, its bottom end is really usable on the street.
Plus the sound is A++++, the videos on youtube don't capture the bonkers loud sound.

I don't lay down this kind of money for a bike everyday and especially the S/abs model.
Well, I picked up the bike three days ago and although this is not a review I just want to say to you guys waiting, KEEP THE FAITH! This bike will not let you down. Set it at 195hi/race mode and enjoy. She is a temperamental beast but brings the joy and sport of riding to you at lightning speed. I've had many bikes, Hayabusa, Ducatis etc. But this bike is art in motion.
I don't say this often but the bike exceeds expectations in every area. I can't stop looking at the bike.
Anyway, worth the wait my friends.

Congrats! Have you ridden the MV F4? I'm currently in a dilemma, and after demoing both bikes cant decide which one to go with...

No I have not but that is a nice dilemma to have. I just love the F4. But when you consider the advanced technology in the Panni..
Either way you can't go wrong on that pick.

Hey hows the heat from the 1199 in Brisbane? I noticed it was quite warm/hot (but not a issue) in cold Wellington.... was 12c at the time
Only rode bike home in the wet for 30 km and when I got home and kept it running for about 2 minutes, decided there and then heat could be an issue
