they changed the geometry of the lower shock mount on the 2022 bikes, so you may not need the linear link, but I’d certainly call forsaken to see if they have a model that’s for your bike before putting the one on that was made for the 2021 and older rear geometries.

Hi I did call them and have spoken to them.
There is a different link for the pre 20 models and a link for the 20 on with the different length arms etc
He said the 20 on is correct for the 22 which as you have stated the swing arm pivot has been raised.

Therefor I am looking for someone that has fitted this to their 22 model and their feed back please.

I am pretty sure the 22 went to R geometry

I think that simplifies it a bit in that the r had the adjustable swing arm pivot as well as the different length arms etc.
The concensus with an r was to run the pivot on the higher setting which is where the 22 Base is at...

The shock linkages for the V4R are the same part number as the base/S bikes (up until 2020, I don't think they made any V4Rs after 2019?)

The shock linkages were changed (5mm difference) on the 2020 onwards bikes.

The V4R stock swingarm position (-3) is the same as the 2022 swingarm position. V4R swingarm position +1 is the same as the pre-2022 bikes.

Well ive been communicating with Philippe at Forsaken Motorsport and he assures me the +20 (2020 on) link and rocker they supply fits in with the 2022 geometry as measured/calculated by the Motospec chassis program. It provides a linear rate rather than the std progressive one..

The link arms p/n 37211983AA are the same for all V4 Streetfighter and Panigale models 2018-2022 as is the actual "triangle" linkage p/n: 37211971BA. You can check the parts diagrams on Ducati Omaha's website.

I HAVE installed one of these linkages on a customer's V4R which has an extended swingarm. Ohlins built a custom shock for the linkage and +30 mm Pieobon swingarm and changed the valving. I will have a look into what that change was.

I am curious about this same linkage on my 2023 V4R. I DO have that customer's bike in my garage right now so I guess I could try it and report back...

I spoke with Phillipe Lefletch from Forsaken and he said the linkage works on the 2023 V4R. I have asked him for a graph showing his linkage versus stock to see the differences.

Which makes sense as pretty much everything else is the same…

Interesting to know what difference moving the SAP through the 4 positions makes to the line..

And is it still regarded that the Forsaken linkage requires a harder spring and different/softer rebound damping?

Here is the comparison, Red is the Forsaken link, Black is OEM. Stock progression is 8 %. Forsaken's link drops it down to 4.4 %.

So the Foresaken linkage offers a more linear progression of the rear wheel.

How does that translate to performance?

I assume it mainly has an effect on feel/performance from apex to trajectory.

What is the Wheel/Shock axis showing?

Force exerted I presume.

Thats the other axis on the right? Never heard of a measure of Wheel/Shock.

it means the leverage on the spring stays a lot nearer to the same through the movement/travel of the wheel up through on the SAP = linear

rather than the leverage increasing or decreasing through the travel of the wheel... = progressive
