Front tyre wear

Yeah we are pretty lucky in terms of potential roads! But...

Old Pacific Highway (OPH) = waste of time with a 60kph limit through the best stuff - now THAT sends you to sleep!

Bells Line - yes, very nice, but fairly heavily trafficked with sightseers on weekends (and fairly well policed). For me is it a nice ride on the way to further out west (Oberon area) [emoji3].

Putty Road - still OK at the right times but getting to be like Bells Line only with trucks and horse floats.

Royal National Park - ditto OPH

Macquarie Pass - ditto OPH

Getting to be more and more like track days will be the only way to explore you and your bikes potential - which is probably the right thing I guess. Lucky for me (at the moment) Sydney Motorsport Park (EC) is only 20 minutes away...

Agree with all that. OPH has some mad P platers and L platers also coming around corners on the wrong side of the road. I went for a spin up to Oberon for breakfast last year and it was a great ride.

Did you measure the tread depth on both prior? My guess is the rear has more tire to wear which is why it takes longer to hit the wear bar. If you baby your back tire I'd expect it to outlast the front.

I get exactly the same thing, not quite two fronts to a rear but I'm not spinning it up out of the corners and tend to be a bit harder on the brakes coming in, same tyres, same sort of riding up on the Sunshine Coast.

same thing is happening on my 2015 panigale. only ridden on the street with some moderate to heavy spirited riding my front is wearing out faster than my rear. my suspension settings were checked by a local shop right when i got the bike. bike feels great corners amazingly but i just find it odd as well as most of my previous bikes the rear would always go before the front.

Same thing on mine. No chicken strips on the rear but at least an inch or more on the front and the front is bald as .... where it does touch.

Is your rear set up on Flat or the Progressive position ? Mine was delivered in Progressive (which was very uncomfortable and very bouncy during hard cornering) Changed it to the Flat position today and noticed immediately that the front had worn much closer to the edge.

Also, I've had the front let go and slide a few times went banked over hard.
