Need new gloves for track and some street duty.

Between Knox Handroid v14 and Dainese Full Metal D1.

Opinions and Thoughts, go!

I'm looking at them now, the Ricondi Racing Spec. Im trying to determine which size I should get. I wear a Medium in alpinestars and Im not familiar with numerical sizing.

I have the Full Metal Dainese gloves size L. They are amazing! Only complaint is the gauntlet part is very narrow and will only fit over a thin Dainese jacket or my race suit. If I were the Full Metal gloves with my street jacket, I wear the gauntlet inside the jacket for a cleaner look. And so the jacket sleeves don't get all bunched up.

Otherwise, for the street I use Dainese shorty gloves that are also super comfy and not too hot. I have these for the street.

Dainese Carbon Cover s St Gloves Black x Large | eBay

I can give you Kris' contact info at SportBike Track Gear and he can give you a deal. Great guy out of Michican. I got all my Dainese gear through them (except my Trickster suit cuz I got it crazy cheap from Germany).

I tried both and chose the Knox due to the fit. The kangaroo leather is extremely comfortable and provide a lot of tactile feedback, yet appear to be quite resilient. I have the Dainese Mig gloves for everyday riding, but the full metal didn't fit right.

I wear a large American size for other types of gloves, but the Knox were sized smaller like other European sized gloves and so I take a 11/XL and 9.5/XL in the Mig.

Alpinestars GP Tech.
Kangaroo, exterior stitching, great snug fit once you break them in and Kevlar lining on the inside of the leather as a second barrier.

Willson, how long did it take for you to get your Ricondi gloves?
I'd like to order those as well!

Had the A-stars and had my hands going numb all the time! Think they were designed for pencil pushers. A small lowside ground a hole in the palm and pinkie. After I ditched them for Heroic SP Pro's I gained a second and feel more comfortable and protected.

I just spoke to Smarty from Ricondi he said your a size 9. You can order on line he has your size in stock .

PLEASE, try on a pair or Heroic gloves before buying! No one has more crash technology in their gloves or better material, and these gloves are more comfortable than anything I've worn. The fingers are sewn in a grip position and the wrist and hand articulation design is beyond compare. Big tough race gloves, but feel light and comfortable.

I think im going to order the Ricondi gloves. I once tried an Australian exchange student and it was among the finest of women that I have ever had. I can only hope these gloves prove to be the same.

held titian by far the best gloves ever made if you want a little less protection go with held phantom all day everyday.
