So yesterday I took my bike out for the first ride of the season as it was 55 degrees and beautiful in Manchester New Hampshire. About three minutes into my ride I was traveling at about 25-30 mph on a street three blocks from my house when someone blew a stop sign resulting in me flipping over his car. The driver kept going until a witness cut him off forcing him to stop. My feet are the size of footballs and wrist is severely swollen as well. The X-Rays were inconclusive yesterday because my body parts are so swollen. Bike is definitely toast which breaks my heart because I've got so much in to it. I will post additional pictures tomorrow.

Sorry to hear this....Hopefully the driver will get his just desserts... Heal up soon

Sorry to hear that Jag. Sue his ... for it and for running and buy yourself a Pani R brotha.

sorry to hear. Hope you heal quickly!

Here's to hoping that the driver rediscovers his integrity and has insurance.

Glad to hear you're alright brotha.

Hope that POS driver gets his just deserts. Do you know if they're charging him with anything? I would imagine leaving the scene of an accident involving injuries is frowned upon.

Sounds like you t-boned him?

Regardless, a hit and run is considered a felony.
(Thanks, Saul!)

This exactly happened to my buddy on his Aprilla, she kept going until a cop stopped her. He got a nice settlement 100K+, but 2 years later still has colon problems and pain sometimes.

Yes they took the driver to the local hospital to run blood tests and we are waiting on the results from those. Just mostly upset about my bike. Had a lot of time and money into it just as most of us do. Just a shame with only 3k on it. Going to get creamed on the payout as I'm sure they will not take the accessories into consideration as they should. . But I'm going to try my best to get what I deserve.

I'm sure some scumbag liberal judge will let this dirtbag go free.

Prick deserves five years in state prison for fleeing.

Glad you're alive and well enough to talk about it.

Just another reason to have full-tort.

Feel better.

That's what it looks like and sounds like to me. Nevertheless, glad you are ok. That sucks! This is why whenever I come to an intersection I look to make sure i can tell the cars stopped/coming can see me, because you never know if they can as i've found about half the drivers on the road aren't paying attention. I hope i don't get creamed someday....

he is in new hampshire no libs there. or it use to be that way but i think the locusts from vt are heading over. much like the lMD locusts that are destroying VA.

i call them locusts because they vote lib dem till they have to flee the state then the bring their voting to a free state and destroy that state. exactly how a locust stays in a tree till its destroyed then destroys a new tree.

almost forgot while i was ranting heal up quick

Considering the one picture of the bike, it is very fortunate you are able to tell the tale... I am sorry to hear about your injuries and the bike.

I hope you heal up quickly and that this doesn't dissuade you from getting back on another bike.

Heal up fast; glad to hear it wasn't worse. Could have easily been! Almost had same happen on my pedal bike a few weeks back; gal was texting away and drove straight through a stop sign at a good clip. Fortunately, I had eyes on her and hit the gas (pedals) just in time. She was at least nice enough to stop and apologize profusely.

Takeaway is to always check for crossing traffic and never assume they're going to stop, since getting it wrong can really suck, even if you're in the right.

If I were you, I think my consolation prize would include a shiny new 1299S...

Sorry to hear that and glad you seem ok at his point and able to type to us. Sad to see the Pani all jacked up but I hope you recover quickly and get a new ride by summer. Send the lynch mob after the driver!

I hope you aren't badly injured...the bike can be replaced.

Accidents happen. Hit and run ........ piss me off....

Sorry to hear, but all that really matters is that you are ok. Toys come and go, but your health & well being take priority.

The driver may or may not get what they deserve, but that fact that you are still upright is all that matters.

Hell you may be able to get the new R after all this & get what's left of your bike to part out.

Heal up fast!

Its a class B Felony. Seven years for that conviction per the statute

Glad you are ok. Sorry about the bike.
