I didn't realize there was a price creep on the V4S. My 2021 V4S was $28,695 if I remember right.
An extra $31,405 to get the MotoGP or WSBK livery is insane.

Pretty sure MotoXcambi or similar could get you that livery for 10% of that price markup lol

No accounting for stupid I guess…but we also live in a culture where our electric bill is 20 times what it is in Canada for no good reason, our healthcare cost 5 times as much as anywhere else in the world with quality of care at or below most other developed countries in the world that cost 20% of our costs, our politicians are owned by about 2200 ultra wealthy donors that stack the deck so that those 2200 people have more wealth than the other 330 million combined, our internet is slower than all other developed countries at 5 times the price, our medications costs 10 times as much for the same drugs, our education system costs ten times as much and ranks below most other develop countries, we have a corrupt military industrial complex with bought politicians that sells us super sophisticated incredibly expensive weapon systems that only work 50% of the time at best, our Supreme Court, that’s supposed to be the final ‘non-political’ arbiter of fairness and justice is taking bribes and systematically votes along political party lines just like Congress on cultural issues while siding with those 2200 ultra wealthy donors in every written law and court case in a way that suck more money out of our pockets with less and less in return and stacks it up with those 2200 donors …and the only thing people wanna elect officials over is whether 0.005% of the population gets to call themselves a he or a she.
So why are we surprised when people pay $31,000 for a $3100 paint job that you can literally get in a dozen places because the seller claims it’s ‘limited addition’ hahaha

Yes, but only because it was a return with about 500 miles on it that the original purchaser had already upgraded that came in as I was about to buy an SP, it had a better looking livery than the SP, and had better part options on it already, and I got it for the same price as the SP because it had 500 Newport Beach cruiser miles on it. Was a ‘Newport Latte Special’ where some rich dude buys the Ducati and tools around on it for a few miles then stores it in his 10 car garage. The SP was actually gunna cost more after I added the mods I wanted, like the Akra exhaust that the Anniversario already had on it.
So got a better spec bike for less than the SP I was about to buy and upgrade. If both these bikes were sitting in front of you for the same price, and the red one had the Akra exhaust on it and the black one didn’t, which would you buy lol

I suspect much of this is tongue in cheek, but for a self proclaimed ‘expert in experting’… damn.
