GP shift - DQS setting ?

Hi guys,

I've reversed the shift pattern to be GP shift style - 1 up, 5 down - and am wondering if / how to reverse the DQS operation, so it's not blipping the throttle on upshift etc. I don't seem to see it on the menu. Anyone know ?

PS - also I note slight interference with the plastic chain guide for the shift rod, not ideal but no big drama

The interference is probably what is causing the issue. There is no need to change anything except move the mounting position that is available on the stock rearsets. You do however need to trim or remove the chain guide.

Nothing was done to mine when I had the dealer set it up for GP shift, except the Akrapovic exhaust installation.

Guys I read somewhere that you may need to reverse the quickshift sensor. That seems likely to me. I'm not at home. Now but will give it a shot once home.

Nothing to reverse. The gp shift hole on the rearset linkage is on the other side of the center of rotation of the lever, so it automatically reverses direction of the pressure applied on the switch.
