Looking around where to buy a RapidBike Racing for a 2013,1199 Panigale S.
I live in Norway, and yes i have talked to a dealer here in my country. But i was more or less told if i dont let a autorised RapidBike mechanic install it i would not get any technical support if there is a problem or i have a question. (wtf?)

And and after reading this tread it seams like there are plenty of support to get ;)

So where would be the best place to buy?

Also one more thing. I was told by the dealer i had to buy the race unit that can run 8 injectors. This because the wiring/contacts on the bike was very "special" or something like that. Is this true? Dident make sence to me.....
hi bro. i just saw your post. i see that you want to know where to buy the RB. i recommend you to buy from here( Italy) since we are in the same continent and it comes with the features needed for your bike. buying it from the USA might have different setups remember we have different emissions regulations. one last thing i have a 1299s with full akra. i went to get the RB and the guy told me this "i can take your money but i don't like to do business like that, you living here and with that setup using the upmap that Ducati did to your bike, you are more than good" in other words he told me i don't need it and the most people that use it live in the USA and need it to have their bikes running like they should. anyways if you don't care and still want to buy it remember buy the racing and also add an spring P08 air filter.

Hi everyone,

I am looking getting a full Akrovpic exhaust with the RapidBike Racing mod. My question is would it be possible for me to get the rapid racing installed first and then install my exhaust? Sense the Rapid Racing auto tune itself i wouldent have to worry about tuning the bike after i get the exhaust on rite? Also, i want to install the exhaust myself but im not too sure about the installation of the Rapid Racing looks kinda complicated =(

Its not overly complicated, just a bit time consuming

There is plenty of info on here

Had my local shop install a Rapid Bike race unit in my 2013 1199s (full Term system, Up-map, stock air filter). Immediate improvement in fueling - so much smoother! I've logged all of 10 miles since pick-up so I cannot wait to see what happens over the next 200.

I've got 2 track days at the end of the month too so we'll see what that feels like too.

Transformative. Incredible product.

From what i have read in here my bike is exactly like the US guys describe their bike. No low/mid range power, and kinda un-even below 5000rpm. So if the RB does nothing to fix that this bike will be put up for sale:p

Are you sure Norway and Italy have the same emission regulation?

Yeah i will get the P08 filter also ;)

I have tuneboy map + cruise loaded, will the RB racing adapt and all functions still work with these in place?

Yaman (or anyone) -

Would installing wideband o2 sensors be an improvement to the RB system? Is this even possible for RB?

Thanks -

Yes that is correct, it only goes to 24% wide open with the engine off because of the fly by wire. I am sure you know better but please do not attempt to rev it wide open unless the bike is on a dyno machine :D

If you go to RB Features tab > Calibrate > you should see the values in for min and max throttle. please don't click on the calibrate if the bike is running , it will start to calibrate and you will mess up the max setting (unless of course if the bike is on the dyno ,which would be the only way of calibrating)

Are you also using a map switch ?

Without clicking "˜apply' the calibration settings shouldn't change?

How crucial is it to connect the laptop to the module after auto-tune miles to save the setting?

I've had the module installed and been riding it without going into the module to make any changes or saving any settings for over a year now.

Would really appreciate some user feedback. Thanks.

Anyone know where to download installation instructions and software?

Yeah, went there but must have missed it, will try again when near a computer.
