What to say? I needed another bike like I need a hole in the head and to be completely honest my riding style in no way even comes close to justifying such an extreme bike but... I test rode the 1199s just for kicks and it was over. I couldn't sleep, eat or work without thinking about the 1199. It felt like that first love; knowing you would feel this way forever. A few weeks later I put a deposit down. I picked her up yesterday. Life is good.
 
Had the same "fever" take over me and couldnt sleep for weeks!

My garage has spent almost a week basking in the exotic perfume of new Ducati. I'll admit than on more than one occasion I snuck down in the wee hours just to take a whiff of the magical bouquet that only a new Ducati brings into a garage. As she and I have been going out allot, getting to know each other, the smell is already beginning to fade. I will miss that smell once it is gone. I love the smell of fresh Panigale in the morning.
 
Used to live in El Segundo. Great for beach life and surfing but good riding always seemed to far away. PCH up past Malibu always seemed to have some ..... splattered across it or cops everywhere.
Where do you take the 1199 to play?
 
As far as well known roads I like the 33, 2 and 74. More often I prefer a spattering of "secret" roads that I only share with people when we go riding. :cool:

I'm on the westside too. Have plans tomorrow already but sure we could ride some time.
