BBB yes the OEM Steering Stem Tool will work..

I will find out on shipping. 2 of us Paid Saturday and Wolf is adding something..

Did Kev and Webbes pay yet?

Thanks Kev..

So just waiting for Wolf to add his other toy and Webbes to confirm he paid, then I will call them about shipping times?

I'm all paid up and nothing else to add - will use OEM tool so good to go

Someone explain the install of the upper triple to me please..

Wold did u get the black clipons?

The process as I know it without looking at the manual:

1. Place the bike on stands. The front preferably with a stand that picks up the bike at the lower triple.
a. Grab a cold one and do a walk around. Make sure that the bike is secure and everything looks straight.

2. Mark where the Upper clamp sits vs. the forks. Take note that the CNC might be different in thickness. Hopefully it sits on the clipons.
b. Make another libation, preferably stronger than the previous as you Google measurements etc.

3. Unhook DES connectors (for S and R models).
c. Make sure you understand how everything is bolted etc as you take another sip of your drink.

4. Prep the CNC Upper by loosening the bolts (If they come with them).

5. Crack the stem nut loose. Take note of how much torque it has.

6. Loosen upper triple allen bolts. Slowly slide it off the forks.

7. Remove the stock stem nut with the tool.

8. Apply the CNC stem nut. Torque per specs .

9. Apply the CNC Upper by pressing it slowly onto the forks.
d. Check alignment as you take another drink. Make another one if you have to.

10. Bolt down the CNC Upper Clamp.

11. Move the Steering side to side. Make sure it is "tight" (no up and down movement) and does not grab around the stem.
e. Chug another drink and recheck your work.

12. Apply DES Cables (for S/R models)

13. Turn on the bike to make sure everything is ok. Check for errors/codes.

14. Take the bike off the stands and take it for a test ride.

15. Report your progress here. You are our Guinea pig.

The shipping answer..

As soon as we have product here we will ship (obviously I dont have 5 top triples and 5 sets of stem nuts and 5 sets of bars!! I'm good, but not that good) So about 2-3 weeks till everyone has their parts

Love them haha.. So we are good to go fellas. Part are a coming wwoooooooooooo

I have the proper stand and ordered the tool. I'll post as soon as I do mine.

I gotta get the tool. I realize after your directions I have the correct stand to do it. I have a front head lift stand which lifts the bike by the lower triple not the forks..

stand

This is my stand - the right or wrong one?
