Those look beautiful, and are excellent forks. Being budget conscious, I was told to go with the NIX30 cartridges in my base forks. They are the latest tech from Ohlins, and end up being lighter then the full Ohlins.

Are you replacing the rear as well?

These have the New NIX30 cartridge in them also the only difference according to Ohlin is they have the "New Outer Design that has been significantly redesigned to make it even more attractive with lighter tubes, redesigned fork tops and lighter CNC SBK styled billet fork bottoms" I mulled over getting the cartridge and adding Diamond like coating (DLC) to the Marcozzi instead of the hard anodized aluminum slider it has but I got a really good deal through a good contact so I went with the full Ohlins which has Ti Nitride which is almost as good as DLC.

I've already installed the rear with the Ohlins TTX36 Mk II DU 930 it's a huge improvement over the Sachs. Simple to set up as I struggled to get the Sachs where I wanted them no confidence at all. With the TTX36 MK II's I have no problem erasing Pirelli Supercorsa off my rear tire when I lean. It really plants the rear down and add a lot more confidence.

Nice! What did those set you back?

They set me back $1900. Straight from Ohlins via a good friend.

Congrats...look great. Excellent price!!!!

Are they the same diameter as the Marzocci's? You might need a new yoke also?

That was my concerned because before the forks actually came out, the Ducati dealer told me that I would might have to change the Triple Clamps but Ohlin assured me that they are drop in replacements for the base model and no extra parts needed. When I received them last night I measured the diameters and Ohlin is correct they are the same diameter as the Marcozzi where the top and bottom clamps connects to the forks.

Enclosed are some pictures after the install:

I can say huge difference in performance. I took the bike though some twisties and they feel like a velvet glove.

Your bike is looking great! On a completely different side note, where did you get those sliders? I would LOVE to get those for my Pani.

SATO racing. They are the only one out so far that I know of. They turned out great with excellent quality. I was skepticle on where they mount before I bought them, but when I did the install I can see why they are mounted there and I believe they will hold up no problem at all. Hopefully I wont need them :D

Damn that bike is sick! Frame sliders are trick and those CF wheels are giving me a halfie. Given SATO Racing only purports to sell 'frame sliders', what are you using on the front forks for sliders? Tell me, how did you feel from riding the bike for the first time after adding the cf wheels from stock? Is it as noticiable and profound as some state it is?

Thanks.

****EDIT**** I discovered the SATO racing fork sliders after deeper search.

The CF wheels are a huge improvement in terms of diving faster into corners, faster flicking, braking, accelerating and and what i noticed that people dont talk about much is gas savings from the base wheels to CF. Huge differance in Rotating mass. You will feel the difference right away. Best mod for the Base IMHO.

Speedymoto on the front and rear wheels. Not the prettiest but I know they will do its job had them on all my bikes and never had a wheel scratched on all the low sides I've ever had.

What brand are your wheels? Thanks!
