Australia Has anyone dealt with Tuneboy in Sydney?

I absolutely love tuneboy.

Wayne has actually gone way above and beyond what he should have to help accomplish something their software wasn't even designed to do..

Takes a couple days to hear back. Which is a great thing, especially since it's him and Emma running the show.

As for the support and answers... imagine the millions of questions he gets..
"I know it says windows only, but how do I run it on my mac"
"do I really have to install the drivers to get it to connect"
"Will this make my bike faster"

You are 100% spot on Tadashi. Wayne spent many hours on my bike with the dyno and explained so much about the bike. He has a great technical knowledge. He showed me the little switch on the under the clutch lever and explained is function long before people on this forum started to guess what it did.

I recall one of the problems he has is with people not reading the instructions and when something does not work, not communicating what the actual issue is. He gets emails that say. "It will not connect" but no more information about what steps the person has actually taken. Or the guy who said his cruise control kept switching off because he was using the rear brake and did not know that using either front or rear brake turns off the CC.

I have been fortunate because I was able to meet him face to face and he is happy to explain how it all works. He is not a big company. It is a husband and wife run business. I think he does great work and I think his product is great. But that is just my 2 cents worth.

As I said I am very happy with the quickshifter and the up/down function it provides. the ability to adjust switch pressure and kill times is also a nice bonus :)

I agree the BlipBox is a bit pricey for what you get, but it is more plug'n'play than TB.

I primarily wanted the cruise control and all the other TB features were a nice bonus :)

I attached a screenshot of my blip and TPH tables, they are moved a bit off from the defaults tables, but they seem to work pretty well on my bike. :)

Just wondering if you adjusted the BlipL table at all??

I adjust the time lenghts for my "street" tirm and found it help a bit.

No - I have never felt comfortable playing with them, so have left them at the default values and just played with the other tables. As the manual states them as being the mechanical timing, so I have left it at default 126 over the entire range.

Would be fun to see your tables and then I have something to play with when the bike gets out of storage in a month or so :)

This. I had a TB w/ cruise and the nudge buttons on my Diavel and yeah, it may take a few days for them to get back to you, or you may need to ping them if you haven't heard after a few days, but the information he'll come back with is directly proportional to how much info you supply to him about the problem.

That being said, the system worked flawlessly after it was set up. I almost considered the cruise a necessity on a bike where a degree or two of throttle rotation was the difference between the going speed limit and getting impounded if there happened to be a cop nearby.

I had it, worked awesome on my Multistrada. Up/down shifts were fantastic. Couldn't get it to work properly on the Panigale and went back to oem quickshifter.
If you can get your bike to Wayne for tuning and set up I would highly recommend it.
By the way I have the hardware available if anyone wants it. Just need to purchase the key from Tuneboy.

I'm dropping off my 848 there for a dyno tune and remapping the fuelling on Wednesday.

Question, I just bought a 1299S, if I can give it to Wayne to dyno and remap the ecu, would I only need to buy the TB hardware to load other stuff like the CC cause all the fuelling etc should be taken care of ...

I have recently purchased the tune and cc license and installed it without any issues. I would concur with the majority here that the response to emails is quite slow (2-10 days) but the functionality is very good for a product that does not require an additional piggy back module. Test rode the bike last night in preparation for a track day on Friday and it runs well as does the CC functionality. As I've got small hands, I have purchased an Aux switch for a 1299 (I have a 1199) which will allow me to control the CC on the left side instead of using the start button. Wayne recommended the company for the Aux switch (cheap) but they are really slow to ship (will be nearly 6 weeks). If you want the switch earlier I would recommend Carpimoto.com as they have it in stock.

Does anyone know how Frasers treat warranty if you've re-mapped the ECU via Tuneboy etc? I read somewhere they can even tell if a non Ducati analyser has been connected! I wanted to use either TB or Ducatidiag to check/clear codes, reset TP & service alerts.

TIA Phil
