Hi all,

Yesterday during an evening ride the headlights stopped working, including the dlr and high beam.
When the high beam is activated the blue icon appears on screen, but the lights don't work.
The rear light, brake light and indicators work fine.

I've checked the fuse and it was also fine.
I noticed the headlight was foggy and there was a small amount of standing water in it (damp conditions).

The manual says the LED low and high beam are maintenance-free. What could be the problem?

BTW, it is a Panigale 899 with a OEM 1199S full LED headlight unit

Yes, the rubber gasket was damaged which caused water to get into the unit and fry the PCB. The LED’s were fine but the PCB couldn’t be repaired/replaced. Had to replace the whole unit. Managed to find a second hand one on Ebay luckily.

Sorry to hear. Good to mention my dealer said the PCB couldn’t be repaired. Maybe there are companies who can, tho.

I found a complete second hand unit for € 450

I'm having a very hard time finding one at all. Have you heard of anyone converting over to the 1299s headlight I would think with a little fab work it should be possible
