Hello all, moved to San Antonio from FL 5 years ago now and sold my Duc because you have to have a truck in TX rather than a bike, evidently. Miss my bike badly and so anticipating my 1199S. However, recently been seeing all kinds of propaganda telling me I am wrong and should be looking at the BMW S1RR, so sad because that is such an ugly bike.

Please save me and tell me everything is going to be alright when my new Duc shows up!!

you will find people who have sold there bmw to buy 1199 and are very happy about it. Don't listen to anyone, just take a test drive and am pretty sure that will make you smile :). There is nothing out there which drives like 1199

I'm in SA, bought mine at Ducati Austin... Welcome!!! I have owned a lot of bikes: CBR, R1, 748, RC51, M109R, etc... the 1199 takes it to a whole different level.

+1 for Ducati Austin.

I've had a ton a bikes as well -- nothing has made me smile like my Panigale!

You will love it!!

Thanks, the guys in SA Ducati are great I agree they let me in the shop to see the first 1199 since I missed the premier. I have been currious who had the better store, SA or Austin? I need to make a stop in Austin to check things out, maybe next week. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the street, I always get a kick out of seeing a Duc; not a lot of them out there.

Congrats and welcome, Former BMWS1KRR owner here, they are both great and also different animals, no regrets so far on the Pani.
