I am on the fence about buying a bike.

Option A: 2017 959 with 5K miles, has already have two owners. $10,500 bank is offering 8.9% APR

Option B: A new 2019 leftover for $14,500 OTD bank if offering 3.49 APR

What would you pick?

4500 is quite a difference. That would be a lot of cash to put towards goodies for the bike, or just overall savings. But, if you value warranty it would obviously be already expired. Check to see if the 17 has service records. Besides those points I really can't think of anything else. At that point it's whatever tickles your fancy.

Go the 2019!!!!!!!!!!

You're certainly not including some important factors in your post. My guess would be you're probably young. Nothing wrong with that if you are.

Are you planning on financing the entire bikes cost over 5yrs? Any down payment? Plan on paying it off sooner than the loan term?

5.5% interest makes a difference. By the end of loan, that 4000 difference between bikes drops down to about 2800. The 10500 bike costs you around 2500 in interest whereas the 14500 bike only costs you around 1300. It's around $50/mo. Difference in payments. All that said, a new bike and a 2 year warranty is worth the extra $50/mo. On a ducati. If you can afford it, the new bike is your only option.

Congrats. 2 owners is a lot, and the amount of checking to ensure the bike is as described can be a lot. The factory warranty will be a benefit, and YOU will know what you’ve done with your Duc.
