Have and love my Pani Tri, but I think I would ride more if I had a bike that is easier to just fire up and go. I am not getting rid of the Pani, not a chance so the only option is to buy somthing else. this is what I am looking at but I am wide open to sugesstions. (I must admit, I have a hankering for an Ural Patrol!)

MV Dragster
MV F3 800 Ago
Duc Diavel
Duc Multi Pike
Duc 996/8
Duc Monst 1200
BMW S1000RR HP4
KTM SDukR
Somthing custom?
Norton Com. Cafe racer

Please help!

Here we go.... expect 1000 different responses..lol..

I will chime in first... KTM Super Duke R...

IMHO, analyze what kind of riding you want to do and then fit the tool to the job. I have never had the urge to own more than one sport bike at once since they fit the exact same use case. I prefer to have one sport bike for doing fun twisty stuff/track, one bike for commuting and general street riding/touring, etc., one for going all Ryan Villopoto on some whoops, one for around town, etc. I think if you figure out what you want to do with your additional bike and then pick the bike you will be happier in the long run.

BTW, I also considered a Ural, but it didn't really fit what I wanted to do with it. Cool bikes though!

Nothing hard about firing up a Pani and going, so I guess you mean for casual rides you don't want to kit up for. Your 1199 and 675R are great for a certain type of ride, but with those on hand you don't need another sportbike. So buy something for the kind of ride you don't want a sportbike for. Assuming that means grab-n-go around town, etc. then a Street Triple 675 or a Brutale 800 would make a nice runabout and still be more versatile than a motard or the like. If you're thinking more adventurous, then something like a Tiger 800 maybe? Can do the town thing or load it up and head for Timbuktu if the urge hits.

Be sure to post pics... :p

KTM smc 500 - modded :)

KTM 690 (Single cylinder)

Easy to manuever.

Lightweight.
Good power.
Ease of maintenance.
Fun.
Fun.
Fun.

WTF

No one can help you.

Does it take 5 people to start yours for some reason? I get on mine fire it up and go, easy peasy, what's your problem?

um, I want to keep mine a long time so I warm it while gearing up to tackle twisties. I want somthing I care "less" about so that when the wife needs milk, I ride instead of drive. Its about getting more access, not changing the access i already have.

Alas a Pani is not the best tool to go get milk...

:D

Just rassing you brother.

I love it as a milk runner. I use those recycle cloth bags around my neck and chuck the gallon in it.

I use a Husaberg 450 FE plated for the streets too ;) and to me that is a crappy milk runner.

I am bias because my first bike was a Diavel. Love it as much as my Pani, however if I could have only one it would be the Diavel... Very laid back when you want it and still breaths fire.

my 09 cbr 1000 made the Diavel look like it was sitting still...anything after first it was just a shame...I have seen that the diavel puts down about 140 to the wheel...DONT crucify me if im wrong but how is a bike with 140 HP and that weight, all that fast?
