HELP! Need another bike!

Triumph Speed Triple.

because....
Triumph makes great triples. And it's setup for long(er) distance. Planning on getting one in the next year to replace my (aging) Triumph Sprint (also a triple).

How about an 1199 ABS (base model)? I know a guy (who looks a lot like me) who'd sell you one only mildly used.

I found a used "R" for sale and need to move this one first. ;)

This guy a ride with swears by his three bike rule - Multistrada for touring, Pani for the track/canyon and scooter (yes, scooter) for in town milk runs....I'd say get a Sport Classic and make it loud!

I have a speed triple and think it is a great street bike for curvy roads and having a couple of hours of fun. The linear power band is amazing. However, IMO, I think the best "all-around" bike for the street is the Multistrada.

Moto Guzzi Café Racer, that Norton idea sounds pretty good or a Royal Enfield maybe? They're made in India and sell for around 6 grand up here. With a pair of saddlebags you'd be all set for your milk runs.

I love my 2004 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport Balibio, it is relaxing, smooth, very comfortable, and on some of the roads I like to ride I'll race anyone, on anything with it. 140 mph down hill with a tail wind is it's max, so the power is underwhelming but it more than makes up for it with handleing. I used to road race V7's and LeMans many years ago so I have a soft spot for these Italian tractors.

This is my favourite bike to ride on the road . Get a old Bevel Ducati every Ducati owner needs to own a old girl as well.......or a KTM 1290 SD .

This ^^. I had to get rid of either my '13 Speed Triple R or '10 MTS1200ST in order to "justify" the 1199R. After much hand-wringing, I kept the MTS. It's great for 2-up riding when my wife doesn't feel like riding her M1100EVO, handles the occasional milk-run with aplomb (top box), and can easily be whipped into a frenzy when you want a bit of spirited riding in complete comfort. The S3R was wonderful but in the final analysis, it had to go... No regrets.

On the other hand... (see below)

KTM 1290 Super Duke R. I think it looks like a fun to ride.

You already have a lot of track orientated bikes, I would go for a hypermotard the 800cc version if you plan on using it around town and for short blasts (I find this version as opposed to the 1100cc more fun).

If you haven't tried one you should as it's a very addictive bike

my 09 cbr 1000 made the Diavel look like it was sitting still...anything after first it was just a shame...I have seen that the diavel puts down about 140 to the wheel...DONT crucify me if im wrong but how is a bike with 140 HP and that weight, all that fast?

And speed is only 1% of the equation for a grocery getter that's still fun. Pretty sure a Diavel can keep up with me on my Pani. Then again, I have plenty of fun on a 35hp Suzuki. It only needs to be faster than traffic behind me.

My Pani is set to 120hp for street use most of the time. OP, you should just beat on your 1199. Fix it as needed. Needs paint and a new body every 3 years? So what, do it.

Have and love my Pani Tri, but I think I would ride more if I had a bike that is easier to just fire up and go... Somewhaere else you posted something to go get milk. I think.

MV Dragster- Really?
MV F3 800 Ago- Don't know
Duc Diavel- Not
Duc Multi Pike- Maybe
Duc 996/8- Not
Duc Monst 1200- Maybe
BMW S1000RR HP4- Really?
KTM SDukR- Really?
Somthing custom?- Be serious.
Norton Com. Cafe racer- Oh sure, really?

Please help!

From your list, it looks to me like you really just want a second bike that's just different than the Pani and are trying to justify it. And that's not a bad thing! But, be real, you think you can jump on an HP4 or a 996 easier than your Pani to get milk? I think you're wanting to get away from a race bike, so from your list the Monster and the Multi would fit the bill. You have to ask yourself, how often are asked to go get milk and nothing else. If you really want to grocery shop, I say Multi because the bags will accommodate. The street glide isn't a bad idea either. But, if you just want something to just tool around on and stick milk in your backpack once in awhile then the Street triple, Monster, Hypermotard or KTM is probably what you're looking for.

I bought a Hyper SP with the extended windscreen and top case a little over a week ago. Absolutely love the hell out of it. Have a Sportster 48 I was doing some commuting on...great bike too but the suspension (or lack of) was killing my back after 100 miles or so.

YES! that is it! problem is where do i find one? Sport classic may be easier though...
