Anyone available online now that has installed this before on their own? Im getting ready to attempt to install this and thought it might be best to talk to someone who's done it already first.

That's what ygpm means, other than that, to tell me privately the Oilquarium sucks :) And you did it right after my post.

The oilquarium is dumb. "Hey look at how much oil I'll leak all over when I crash and bust my case cover because I thought looking cool was more important than crash covers, reinforced case covers, or sliders...".

Couldn't have said it better myself! But it does have that "raised edge" thing goin' on for folks that think the cover would get scratched lol - Plexiglass??? A zillion covers for bikes over decades, this is the first one outa plastic. Crazy.

Yeah.. except getting that damn rubber stopper in...lol

um i couldnt figure out where that was suppose to go. ...., i just went out and tried to put it on but with the wires it looks like it might pop off eventually. ........, everything went smooth now this...

Yeah, uh, "normal". Why don't you remove the metric screws and just do a few dozen wraps of duct tape around the whole tail section to hold it on there? They make black duct tape if you are worried about it looking like .....

You could try feeding the wires one at a time through the channel and tug a little from up top through the rear seat cowl space. Or gently shove/feed them with the end of an allen key or something without edges.

Or, CaptCF's advice is another strong alternative...
