Searched around this and other forums and don't see any recent data. Just picked up Suomy as a sponsor and about to put in my order but wanted to see if anyone has an AGV GP-Tech and the new Suomy SR-Sport and how sizing compares. It's their new helmet replacing the Spec and Excel.

They could send me a few to try but I'd rather save them and me the time and expense. I don't have a local dealer that's got one in stock to try either so I gotta make my best guess. I wear a small in GP-Tech.

Thanks in advance for the help and cheers.

Congrats on picking up Suomy. They have good helmets. I have a Spec now and had a Gunwind a few years back. I think the sizing is pretty true. I wear a medium in Suomy and have found that it fits just a small bit tighter than the med Shoei and Arai-but I'd still consider it the same size. Haven't worn an Agv in a long time, but I think it was a med also. Congrats, and good luck.

I have the spec 1 r wall st edition. Feels like its custom made. it does run a size small. i am med in shoei arai and bell. suomy is a large for me and its a race fit. hope this helps

I would love to know where you are buying Suomy in the US. I have been a Suomy supporter/customer for around 10 years. I picked up a Spec1R right before they seemed to pull out of the States and have always been impressed with every model I have worn.

If you have a source that you can share I am in the market for the new SR-Sport.

Thanks for your help and please share.

To answer your question I am a large in Suomy and a Med in Arai.

gramps - speedaddictcycles is where i purchased mine. Last year they had the full line. i am not sure about the new helmet they still have the spec 1 r at great prices

Thanks for all the replies. It looks like most of you went a size up on the Suomy. I appreciate the help.
Gramps, it's a race sponsorship so not purchasing through a retailer. I've also seen helmet city sell their line. Sorry I can't be more help.

Cheers

I have three Suomy lids, they have been great.

I sent a note through their website asking who sells them and got a form letter back from the president of the USA branch saying they are very much part selling in the USA, but not much more than that, and their website is a bit lacking.

Agreed.

I just can't find any current inventory for sale.

Speedaddicts seems to have the 2013 Biaggi helmet but I would bet it was manufactured sometime last year(2012).

I will keep looking. If anyone has a source please let me(us) know. I would like to be able to purchase another Suomy.

Thanks for your response. I was hoping that your sponsor may be able to point me to a retailer.

UPDATE: Helmet City has the new SR Sport

Actually, that's how I heard about helmet city. I'll give him a shout to see if there's another distributor out there with good inventory. Which one are you looking for and what size? If I can hook you up I will.

I'm looking for the gambler SR Sport. Size L

Thanks and sorry for the delayed response
