Help with EBC

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

That's the one thing I wish ducati Austin had told me about that they didn't. I learned about EBC here on the board, if I had known at go I would have just set it at 3. Now I'm having to relearn how to ride the bike a little bit.

Don't feel bad..My dealer omitted any mention of this feature either... I think they are ignorant...perhaps in every sense???;)

Remind me to call Vito and give him "what for" for not instructing you better.

Next time you're at Ducati Austin offer him a Clonerita and he'll treat you a little better.

That's ok isn't it:confused:

Like, I mean it's the same as dating a new woman and discovering her wonders:)

Ehhhhhh when you are going 150-160mph braking and leaning into a 180 degree turn on a track day a change in braking feel and engine brake can be unnerving if not fatal. Its why I'm not running at 3 right now. Gradual change.

Started running EBC2 on all maps on the street today - love it! You have to control corner entry speed with brakes noticeably more, and you have a LOT of oversteer if your corner entry speed is too slow, but overall EBC2 is a massive improvement over EBC1!
