one thing I will say.....Ducati's are usually used to having low miles once they hit the pre-owned market....people are loving this 1199 so much....once they hit the pre-owned market the miles i think are going to be higher than what people are used to seeing....this might be the most fun superbike Ducati has put out thus far!....I always put miles on all my superbikes.....i'm glad others are doing the same.....more on average it seems

got it late November, used with barely 100 miles on it. Rode on Snowy roads with a bit of salt. Washed it afterwards. Then logged 2k miles on it after first oil change and service.

Jeez.. mine has less than a 100 and I have it for about a month. Can't wait to ride it... gotta split the mikes with the Harley.... V-Rod is one fun bike as well.. :)

Bought mine Nov2013 with 1500kms on it, I insured it for the 1st time 10thApril2014, I now have 8,000kms on it, other than a mirror/fairing bolts vibrating loose, and occasional hard hot starting ive had no problems. My bike smoked like a banshee on startup when I first got it, and used a little oil, but once I got around 5,000kms (3,000 miles), on it, it all went away.....:D

22800 km,:D 24000 service is done and ready to go for this season, lets get out there and ride.:p

What are you up to mileage wise now?

28,000. Would be a lot higher, but my bike has been under the microscope for the most of the last six months. Picking it up tomorrow, if all goes well we will be piling on the miles in Europe. Can't ....... wait.

Anti-Hero Arctic Vigilante!

2600 miles. running stronger by the day. cant say it has been without small issues.
1) mirrors vibrated loose. Thread locker applied 2x
2) oil cap/"o" ring leaked. replaced warranty
3) exhaust had the servo valve stick shut. disconnected cable. not cool Ducati!
4) charcoal canister. hard to start. drained canister and re installed. starting fine now. Warranty
5) exhaust heat shield had a loose bolt. tightened
6) Burned oil up until now. seems to be stabilizing.
7) perpetual HARD ON :D since inception of ownership. most fun on two wheels i have ever owned. period! despite the small issues listed.

Where abouts from Canada are you? I thought I had the most around my area with 18,000 kms. Also how pricy was that service I estimated about $2000 parts and labour.

I live on vancouver island and my 24000 device was 890.00 but there was some warranty repairs going on at the same time :D

Was supposed to be there already. In roughly 250-300 more miles I'll have verified the high idle issue is indeed fixed and will arrange for bike transport and a one way ticket. So perhaps 2-3rd week in June?

Sitting at 3500 miles. I have other ladies which eat miles too. Right tool, for the right job......right? (Unless you are Antihero, then any tool will do! :) )
