Highest speed at which your bike will loft the front

I can confirm, JollyRoger, is the official .... on this forum. Every forum has one, unfortunately.
However, there is also an 'actual' ...., lurking, somewhere on here too.

Maybe it's me, maybe it's you. But everyone knows who it is.

As for me I'm off on an extended trip with she who must be obeyed. So rick prayers do get answered particularly when the whole congregation is involved. In the words of the irish bard (and one seriously fast motorcycle enthusiast) Joey Dunlop "while riding may no part of one's body grace the pavement except for the tips of one's toes, knees and elbows". Ride safe.

it was just under 100 when it started to lift cuz i noticed the display go from double to triple digit, in my peripheral
as the bar went loose in my hand but i did not get a number at a glance(did not get a perfect look at it) in third, WOT,
i got spooked when i felt the bar go loose in my hand , it felt like it was quickly on its way up and was going to keep going
and i slowly rolled out of it. scared the hell out of me.(I LOVE THIS ADAMN THING)..never had a bike that could wheelie at that speed in third
i have not had the chance to really run it out in any gear except 1st and second,,,theres just nowhere to safely do that on the street
without getting popped for a felony anyway, and its not worth losing the low rates i get on insurance
all aids off except for the ones that cannot be completely turned off and i keep traction control at 3 to 4 to save a little tire.

had my 1199 with termi and upmap lifted at 150 to 165 for about a 1/8 of a mile or so. Was not on purpose, maybe pavement was wonky and had a lift or slight roll that lifted the front. Either way I stayed in it.

I didnt notice anything but I ride in leathers pretty much all the time. I removed them because I like to see a bit of machinery

My 1299 comes up at 150 and you sure can feel the bars get light at 175 in 6th with DWC off. Eerie feeling at those speeds. That pull it has at 7000-9000 rpm is ridiculous. Definitely not something I'd be trying to do at those speeds. Totally can see the need for those little wings.

Every time I see this thread header I think to myself that I don’t think there’s any speed this thing won’t wheelie at if you back off the throttle then twist it back on quickly.

I agree, it doesn't take much to get that floaty feeling a nearly any speed with the electronics on the lower settings
