I know I'm late in the mix but I'm still a new member so it's okay lol.
Far as the topic goes, it brought back a sad memory for sure. About a year and a half ago, someone had knocked over my Daytona 675 in the parking lot of my job. The 2 parking lot patrol guys came into my job to tell me they picked my bike up off the ground because someone had tipped it over. Went outside to look and I felt sick to my stomach. If it was my Panigale in that same situation, I probably would have fainted.
On a positive note, I too have State Farm and they estimated $3800 in damages (front fairing, left fairing, dent in gas tank, bar end, clutch lever, mirror, cracked tailsection. My deductible was only $200 and because it was pretty much all cosmetic damage (sounds muchhhhhhh worse than it looked) I decided to keep the $$$ and sell the bike. Sold the bike for $8k in the condition it was in and pocketed the $3600 from insurance. Basically owned the bike for 3 years for the total cost of about $1500 (which was the cost of my aftermarket parts on it since bike was $11.2k out the door). State Farm FTW!
Anyway, one of these days, I'm going to be all caught up on your longgggggggggggggggg coast to coast thread. That's just awesome!
