More than the money aspect of it all, when I went out it was like seeing a loved one who'd been hit by a car lying in the street. I had to tell myself, "another few seconds on the ground won't do any more damage," while I took out my camera. But in reality I just wanted to get her back upright and make sure she was still alive.
Fired right up, btw. Had to bend the clutch lever back into place, but other than that (and the new angle of the clip-on), I was impressed with how the Pani stood up to whatever monstrosity knocked her down. There's a serious bend to the kickstand, which remained 'down' even while lying on the ground, so I'm guessing it functioned like a mini pole vault, which caused the clip on to bend so far. A high-side while parked, basically.
Note: if you ever have to pick up a Panigale, turn around so your butt is facing the tank. Grab the clip on with one hand and the tail section with the other and lift.
