Very nice and tasteful choice as usual HKMP7, I never notice that "pocket" until your picture above :)

Whenever I get a new bike I want try to get it protected first so I can ride it with no worries. So while I was getting the paint up to par this piece came in.

With the bottom of the gas tank being exposed that sticky Pirelli SC would destroy the paint. Now I don't have to worry

V4EVO tank cover.

Any experience with the full six tank cover ? Evo is out of stock on the cover right now.

Podium racing windscreen bolt

The screen bolts added slightly more weight but what they lack in weight savings they make up for in style.

Hey man. How does the black finish hold up to the wrenching?
I try to be careful and torque to spec and Ive never had the finish degrade.
These have be on my 636 for 5 years plus with multiple tire changes and general maintenance.

DP Carbon rear fender
I went with this style because you can use it with the factory exhaust as well as aftermarket.

Coated with Gtechniq CSL and Exo as a top coat.

The fender matches the carbon tail pretty well. That red stitching is the business.

Treated the cans with a high temp wax that will help keep them clean and free of chain sling.

Akra Exhaust lowers

Wanted to protect the lowers from melting so I added some Gold heat protection
The silver stuff is what it comes with from Ducati.

that’s a step above. Ducati had to redesign the lower fairing section on the early 99’s to keep them from melting.
What do u see down the Akra end can? Is it straight through flow or is there some trickery in there

There were baffles but I removed them. I wear earplugs when I ride and I could care less about my neighbors. ha ha

Details on the gold film? Precut, price, link? Thanks.
It is not precut comes just like in the picture I posted. I measure and use xacto knife to cut to spec. I buy it local from these guys.
They make some of the best exhaust manifolds around. The film withstands up to 675 degrees.

I've also heard of a product called Zircoflex (Google it). Comes in 3 thicknesses I, II and III. It's not cheap.

I would put Zircoflex up against any other cheaper gold film and it would reflect heat so much better. But that's such a lower region that I wouldn't worry too much about it compared to under the seat of the bike.

Ive seen stuff like that on turbo applications.
Nice
Torrific have you done your seat? I don’t think my seat gets that hot.
