Just saw this post was about Ducati Reliability. Honestly all bikes have issues at some point. Buy new and extended warranty or, when the warranty runs trade it in for another new one. Yes the heat issue is real. The latest V4's are pretty reliable IMO.

I've owned 4 of them and currently have the two; I find them reliable enough. I've owned Hondas and Suzukis in the past as well.

Just like anything else, If you know how to take care of it it will last forever.

Just make sure you get a warranty. So far my Ducati customer service has been good for the minor things I had to take in to the shop for. Gear position sensor to be specific. I guess they are known for being bad. Other than that my 2019 Panigale V4s is a great daily rider.
