I've been looking and was wondering if there is an add on so I can get rid of the manual preload nuts. I don't think I could get the required 40mm clearance, do they sell shorter springs?

I found this, stateside anyone?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm Nice!!! Where will you mount the remote reservoir? Are there brackets to hold it up? I just purchased from Kyle Racing 2pcs Ohlins preload spanner tools to adjust my rear preload.

Easy job...though, having a remote reservoir makes the job easier and looks like a trick SBK stuff... Nice bud! :)

Ok..Maybe I am missing something here?? Why would you need to keep adjusting your preload??? This seems to be one adjustment that once set should never need readjusting....unless you weight changes... so I am confused...

I don't, but the set nuts look cheap. Every good shock I've ever seen comes with the remote adjuster. Cleans up the look and gives it more of a race feel.

-- it does seem somewhat unnecessary

If you don't have any information related to the op, feel free to spare yourself a post.

NO offense meant to anyone! Just trying to keep the thread on topic. If you want to discuss its usefulness, there's always "THe THread". :D

So this fits a 1199S Ohlins shock and allows it to be adjusted from the handlebars? How does it work? Where does it fit?

Not quite, this isn't a lever remote adjuster. It generally goes on the subframe... I'd have to find a place to mount it, or don't get the one with the knob. Working with a vendor to figure out my options atm.
