1 day after we get the bike the first exhaust will be done, slip-on only.
As it looks right now we will be making 3 options. One in all carbon and two in titanium with carbon end cap.

2 weeks later we will have the first retail versions ready. Carbon will follow then shortly after, little by little.......

Nice Tail Tidy will be in the works as well.

I think this bike would have been better if they would done a different marketing strategy.(Not towards hipsters) Look at the Sport Classic series and resale right now near original MSRP or better in some cases.

Its a great bike, eh...4 different versions; I dont know if needed that many but that goes back into the initial marketing strategy and appeal.

couldn't say that about the Sport Classic though:

Scrambler drives record Ducati sales - Motorcycle news: Industry - Visordown

i like it, since that means more cash in the pocket for more badass superbike developments

I just read the article in motorcyclist about the two guys doing a ralley one on the duc the other on the triumph. I enjoyed it. So Who has rode the duc motard and now the scrambler. Same purpose right?

Really the Scrambler and the Hypermotard are very dissimilar. The Hyper is much taller and has a very "dirt bike" style riding position with a high seat and low wide handlebars. The Scrambler is a much lower seat and higher handlebars (the full-throttle model has slightly lower bars). The Hyper (current generation) has a liquid-cooled 4-valve motor, whereas the Scrambler has the air-cooled 2-valve motor. 110 HP on the Hyper, 75HP on the Scrambler. Modern styling on the Hyper, and retro styling on the Scrambler. Personally, I love my Scrambler, I don't need more than 75HP for a street bike for the type of riding I do. But it's a much more "bare bones" bike than the Hyper, which has a full electronics suite, ride-by-wire throttle w/riding modes, etc. Basically the Hyper is a "performance" street motard bike, whereas the Scrambler is a basic all-purpose bike.

My dad bought a scrambler he loves it . He is 78 years old and has the panniers fitted he does some decent trips . It's a cool bike .
He had a RT 450 going back 40 years ago when he saw the Scrambler he had to have one .

You chose well my man! Take no notice of the doubters it's beautiful in the flesh and sooo light and flickable! Mine came out the box today might be able to ride it tomorrow if they got the PDI done today ...Bellissimo!!! It is the dealers demo so I got first dibs! It should be mine in 3 months which gives me time to get some overtime in! It's a yellow icon they are going to out termi slip on, headlamp guard cause that's what Mr wants ohh and I stipulated I must do the first 100 miles which I will this week, lucky I off till thurs night

I bought one, its a laugh to to ride, its the other end of the Panigale scale, I bought it for winter, and I can't get off it, only thing was when I jumped back on the Panigale it was like being strapped to a rocket and took a minute to get my head around things!

I will take off that chunk of metal hanging of the back, other than that looks cool, its very basic, ultra comfortable, I went up into the hills its a bit low but around the forest and lanes its a blast.

Not being one to leave things alone, I outfitted my Scrambler Classic with full Mupo suspension, the Termi high-mount exhaust, and the Rapid Bike fuel controller. Those changes really transformed the bike, it can be ridden much harder now without wallowing in the turns, and the exhaust/RB made a huge difference in the low-end power delivery.

Show me the left side please to see the Mupo shock.

Excellent choice, I am off to Ecima to check out Mupo for my 749, I wanted a change from Ohlins that's on the my 1199, I would go K-Tech but they don't do a shock for 999/749, going of the Scrambler subject whats the difference between the AP1 and Evo Mupo shock?

The AB1 shocks have the main shock body in steel, and the AB1 EVO body is anodized Ergal so it's lighter. Also a couple of the internal parts are lighter on the EVO.

Strangest thing happened. a friend who owns an 1199 bought a scrambler. Now, the scrambler gets more saddle time than the 1199 because it is so comfortable. he does not care if it is a lot slower than the 1199.

his 1199 is almost always used for the track now
