Guys..
We all bash our dealerships for being for being one or all of the following...Dumb Expensive inept Inefficient etc etc... and I have done my share..
But I must give credit where credit is due and say EuroSport Cycles of Ft Worth have in my experiences been first rate...

Anything I have asked..any problem I have had.. and I have had very few..they have sorted.. quickly efficiently and without hassle... What can I say?? Great job and kudos to you guys...
Normally I hate Dealers with a passion and my very local one sucks...Service Dept that is not sales...
I always have cringed and fretted when I have an issue and wonder whats the cost or whats the hassle involved... But Euro Cycle have been brilliant...Anyone in DFW should use these guys.. seriously...

Don't jinx yourself! :)

....... Can we not be more positive here???

I'll check them out when I need something for mine. What do you know about BMW Motorcycles of North Dallas? They have my Pani on hold for me.

Sure I can be more positive Stw.
I'm very very very happy your having a good time with your dealer. see---> :):):)

However I did laugh a bit to myself when I read your post. I thought I had a good dealer myself also at one point. Lets just say I will be happier tomorrow when I get my bike back from being at that same dealer for a month dealing with issues that the dealer caused two months ago.

But yes I am Positively Happily looking for a New Dealer :) I hope I did not rain on your parade brother.

The best guys are the third party race guys, like BMS in Boulder, CO. They don't do warranty work, but they're awesome otherwise.

+1 Trans your so right, I'm on the search for a new dealer for warranty work in Southern California and a Good third party Race shop for the rest. :)

I'll chime in on my dealer.
3 years of nothing but A+ service from the guys at Indy Ducati:)

My dealer has always been fantastic:)

Melillimoto Ocala FL

I've said it before: If you live anywhere near central Florida or don't mind traveling for competent service, Melillimoto is it. Sebastian started out as an independent shop quite awhile back and then picked up a Ducati franchise a few years ago - probably one of their smallest dealers. He knows Ducs: On my last visit there, he told me that Ducati NA sends him a lot of their engine repair work including 1199s.

All fixed???

AMS Ducati of Dallas the best and cleanest shop i have seen Jeff Nash runs a tight ship and i have seen others in DFW

European Motorcycles of Pittsburgh is also a great dealer, have fixed my issues quickly and efficiently, the only bad part about going in for service is the hour and half freeway commute there. But Darren in sales and Lee in service have been outstanding.

Although I live in South West England, I still use Pro V Twins in Godstone surrey. They are honest, upfront and know what they are doing. More independant than most, but still a proper Ducati dealer...you get a fantastic service from them whatever Duke you own...

So here's just my most recent positive experiences with my dealership and there have been many!

So my wife and I and a couple of riding buddies are riding down to the MotoGP at COTA a few weekends ago. I had prepped my Pikes Peak the night before and I thought she was ready to go. I was all packed, dressed and headed out the door. I let my Pikes down from the stand and the back tire was flat! I'm like crap. What do I do now? My wife in her calm collected says just call the dealership. I'm like, they don't open for an hour, they'll be too busy and this sucks! LOL

Well I called and since it was 9, the phones rolled to VM. Then I remembered that I had the service managers mobile number. So I called her. She said that she was indeed at the dealership and to just air up the tire so you can get the bike here and we'll get you on the road.

So I get there and they are absolutely slammed! And the Master Tech happens to be off on this day making things double busy. So what does the service manager do? Well she doesn't turn me away or say I'll have to wait. She grabs my key and does it herself. All while doing double time answering the phones and managing the service department.

I was on the road in like 20 minutes. All my riding buddies met me at the dealership and we were on our way!

Thanks AMS and thank you Sofi!!

Tom

Rockwell Cycles in NY -- up at Bear Mountain -- is such a great dealer that customers there feel like part of the family. i will bring my bike up for something on a busy summer saturday afternoon and they find a way to get it done. like right away. they always give me the best possible price, but i'd be willing to pay full MSRP just to keep them in business.

think about what internet price wars are doing to brick and mortar dealerships next time you buy something online for to save 5 or 10% -- then think about the fact that your dealership owners aren't rich, wall st. fatcats living large, but just a family getting by like everyone else -- then think about how pissed you'll be next time you need something right now, not in 2 or 3 days from UPS, but your local dealership is closed because you buy everything from supercheapsportbikes.com

Mid Atlantic Dealer

As discussed on this forum in several areas and from several members, the company "Rexxer" is known for their expertise on tuning and flashing ECUs across the country. For those of you who do not know, Dave Lillard is the brains behind this outstanding company and is also the owner of Redline Performance Motorsports in Yorktown, VA as well. I have been friends with Dave for over a decade from when I used to work for Ducati, and have purchased several bikes from him despite having two other dealerships much closer to my pos.

Anyone seeking the very best in Ducati performance and considering a new or used bike should look into this dealer for a sweet deal. If you are ready to pull the trigger on a bike feel free to contact me and I will make an introduction to Dave for you. It may carry some weight since the folks I have sent there have all said they got the best price anywhere. If you live in the DC area I would SERIOUSLY think about this before looking elsewhere. Figured I'd throw out a thanks to Dave (Dave only) for always treating me well and recommending a dealership for others. :D
