If you could stay home and relax all day and actually make more money than you do at your current job, would you do it? That sounds crazy, but this is actually a very real dilemma for millions upon millions of Americans.

i think that sucks to be in that situation. But then again, gov is looking into cutting many military service members, who are working, deployed and etc because of the auto budget cuts...it erks me to see the gov money to go to people who "choose" not to work. I understand that some didnt have choice and rather work.

It's funny, I am in an economics class and we were discussing the same topic.

It is the same as some women where I am from that have 3+ kids, just so they don't have to work. Add up all of the child support, assistance from the state, SSI... Pretty much, they make more than some people that work by just walking to the mailbox.

For most of us Panigale owners, I'm guessing that welfare would have to pay a fuckton more than it does to make our current standard of living viable. Good "problem" to have.

True. And exactly ZERO of them own Ducatis, much less Panigales. I'm lazy now and do pretty well. I don't have to be on welfare just to be lazy.

Slightly off subject, but I had a coworker drive a M series Mercedes to work while on food stamps

You'd be surprised. I had a friend of mine that lived deep in the hood and all you saw in the driveways were Mercedes, Beemers, and Lexus cars sitting on custom wheels. Probably are some Panigales in there too.
