@1198 freak: I actually like that twitchy bump and grab the bike gives over irregularities in road surfaces. I like "catching" the landing, so to speak, under acceleration after hitting what the road brings and I like knowing that I can handle those and not let the bike get out of sort. It's a challenge and I welcome taking it to that edge...if you've ever been over some of the turtle shell copings at some of these tracks with indentations that appear to be made by imbedded 2 by 4's, then you know what I mean.
I just prefer to keep the bike lively and responsive and to not get complacent regarding road surfaces. Thus, I'm ready for what comes my way. I would love smoother roads, but that "ain't happenin' around here". So I have to take them as they come. Balls to the wall and no complaints.
