IMU mounting after installing track fairings

Yeah mate I can take more photos for you .. I used the stock rubber isolators with the metal inserts and bolts which I just got thru my local ducati dealer . I probably went overkill but I’ve heard some horror stories of people struggling with getting it right I didn’t want to go thru that as well

Apart from the imu mounting what other photos did you want ? Are you turning yours into a track bike ? Are you on the panigale owners fb page ?

I think i'm going to go overkill on it too, so thanks! This is a pure track bike build.with no expectations to but it back to stock at some point in the future.

I'd love to see how the you tidied up the wiring up front? Did you clip wires or something else?
Do you have a non-stock rear sub frame? Any tips or tricks on that migration?
Did you removal the engine covers?

Any other advice/guidance on converting a 1299/Panigale R to track use?

No I haven’t cut anything ,, I had to rewire the whole bike because the person I bought it off just ran it without a lot of stuff connected like the connectors for the imu and air temp sensor were missing plus a few other issues. Still have stock subframe but a race one is on my to do list (along with quite a few other things) What do you mean removal of engine covers ?? I’ll take a photo of the angle that I have the imu mounted as well

I just switched from DB Holders to Motoholders, never had an issue with the DB unit but smashed it apart racing at MSR Houston last year so thought I would replace with the Moto Holders as an "upgrade"! Had the exact same issues everyone else had this weekend at COTA. Checked the angle of the square post and it is off from the 45 degrees it needs to be, see photo for difference. I rubber mounted the plate to the square post instead of the IMU, then also added rubber grommets to the IMU mount bolts to correct the angle back to 45 degrees, double rubber in the bottom screw compared to the top. I haven't tested it yet but hoping it works. Would be nice to be able to buy a replacement mount if anyone has one for sale?

Quick update, I had some isolation grommets on order and changed the config to use them, see grommets - 6mm screw one end, isolated rubber in the middle, 6mm female other end (pic 1). These are mounted on the Motoholders peg with a spacer on the lower grommet to offset the wrong angle of the peg and bring it back to 45 degrees (pic 2). The plate is then mounted to them. Also rubber mounted the IMU to the plate, tested this weekend, rev-limiter in 1st and 2nd under full acceleration, tried a couple of long wheelies and wheelie control kicked in, braking super hard and back wheel lifted an inch and held etc, effectively back to full working order.
