In Order, What upgrades to buy?

I learned a lot and found more leaks whilst installing my COX rad guard. Get dirty, learn, and you will develop much more pride and diligence in your bike's operation.

Germ, I'll tell you what. This is THE hardest bike I've had the displeasure of working on. Once you get over your fear of possibly damaging something, be careful and you'll be ok. Get in there. I have a lot more tools now and tricks that I've learned fixing this thing.

+1 - DucatiOmaha and prob others have the parts fiche online so whatever you strip, break, etc. you can just buy and replace. You can even use it as a guide to whether or not you want to try something. Just look up all the parts you are about to monkey with, add up the cost and then decide if it's worth trying it. :)

I've ordered so much spare .... from DO lol. I'm waiting for bolts right now...

The stickiest thing on the bike besides clearances, is the damn thread locker. I've had to extract a handful of nuts and bolts. Been replacing them with SS hardware to prevent in the future and ordering spares from DO.

Yeah, I think they think I am an idiot since I keep paying like $6 shipping for 2 bolts, but hey, I need what I need. :)

Yeah, just gotta get over my concern of breaking/stripping ..... I plan on just getting in there. Gotta start somewhere. I also have CF near me so I'll have to bribe him with beer to watch over and point/swear.

I have broken and stripped plenty of stuff.. maybe between the two of us we make 1/4 of a decent mechanic. :)

Broke a retaining tab off the left upper fairing, stripped mirror bolts and had to go on line to put the tail vents back together when mounting the tail tidy.

Adds a 1/56th

The cost for learning how the fairings come on and off is anywhere between 1-4 retaining tabs. :)

I bought DP until I found these guys. Identical/better quality at a fraction of the cost. I paid 131 for my ducts, but could seem to find them rightaway now.

RC Matte Carbon Fiber Chain Guard DUCATI 1199 Panigale S Tricolore items in RC Professional Racing Realm store on eBay!

Example: Chain guard, Carbonvani $196, RC $71.15 - totally nuts.
