Hello everyone. Just got my first Ducati SF4VS last week. Loving it so far!!!!

Something I noticed yesterday was that when I am on 4th gear, between 50-55 km/h (only within that range) it feels like the "exhaust sound" deactivates. I do not know how to exactly describe it. If the meter goes to 49 or 56 km/h then the "exhaust sound" comes back. This happens only with 4th gear. I checked both sport and street modes and the same occurs in either. Is this something to worry about? Has this happened to anyone?

I would appreciate your responses.

No joke, that's really the case. Every V4 has it, Panigale too but in the third gear.
Perhaps it also has something to do with the measurement method used to homologate the noise level of EU4/EU5 motorcycles

I tried going this slow in 4th today while out for a ride. Didn’t hear a noise and don’t understand why you would be lugging the engine around like that

Hey thank you for your answer and trying out. If you live in the USA maybe there are no regulations concerning the exhaust noise unlike EU. I have contacted my dealer to investigate it and once I have further news I will post it here.

That's harsh regulations.
