They had to send me a set of replacement bolts, because the one that bolts through the metal body/plate wasn't long enough and the two bolts that bolt the license plate to the passenger peg holes were TOO long. The set that they sent me solved the problem and it fitted perfectly. And yes, I did get a couple of spacers with the bolts.Question, the lower 2 holes that the tag bracket mounts to...did your kit come with the 6mm bolts?
Or spacers or anything?
Glad they managed to take my input and correct their parts list.My email to NRC:
Hi Justin,
Do you know if this shipped with the applicable bolts for the 1299/S? I am reading some things on forums about the plate bolts being too long and the body part bolts being too short.
Everything I've read said you guys have been awesome about sending the replacements, but just wanted to check to save a few bucks on shipping if need be.
Thanks for the super-fast service!!
Their reply:
Yes, we changed the hardware around and all kits now have everything needed!
Thanks!

Good to know that they listen to their customers...
Cheers.
He responds very quickly. My issues may can be answered here. I need pictures of the underside of the tag bracket mounting. I used the strap bolts M6x10 located in the tail section. (The ones that hold the leather passenger strap) to secure the tag bracket to the bike.
The passenger peg brackets bolts are M6x13 need sleeves or spacers or something to set flush to make the bracket tight. I may be wrong, however better instructions or a better mounting solution would be great.
The fender eliminator part is a great piece.
With the correct length bolts, everything fits perfectly and there is no need for spacers, UNLESS you are running passenger pegs.He responds very quickly. My issues may can be answered here. I've talked to Justin again. I didn't have the 6mm bolts so I haven't heard back from him but that's where my confusion was. The quick responses and lack of hesitation make this a definite go-to company.
Oh thank goodness I am not crazy. I count three bolts in my kit and there is no way that license plate bracket is making it on there with the heatshield and included parts.
I tend more towards 1's and 0's than bolts and nuts, but compared to the kit for my 1098 and RC51 I installed this one is a bear. Maybe mine was an early shipment (no instructions, short some bolts, and the long bolt is no way long enough), but I am not all that happy with this order.
