Spent a few enjoyable hours today, just mucking around on the bike. Cleaning in behind the fairings, made a small bracket to put under the rear licence plate to hold a red reflector. I originally had it on a little tube which held the registration label but we no longer need to display that here so off it came but had to work out something to put that reflector onto.

I always enjoy doing stuff on this bike even if it is only minor. May try to do the 41 tooth sprocket swap next.

STW thanks for the tip. Will give it a go. Have a track day coming up and I did the same track last year so may leave it as it is now and check times and then go with the new setup and then go to that track again and see if it improves my times.

I am not a racer though so its only lap times for fun. Last time I was there I got carried away trying to beat a guy and ended up with the front letting go in a hairpin. Lucky I did not crash but frightened crap out of me. More so what would have happened to the bike with no insurance rather than damage to me as it was a slow corner.

Now that we do not have to display registration labels in our state I removed the tube and used the original bracket to mount some red reflectors which are required. I think the fine is about $100 if the police want to give you a ticket for not having one fitted.

I always enjoy playing around with the red machine.:D

Hey brad whens your track day? I assume your going to SMSP?

I am aiming for the Auust 12 one mate. I am away on a large military exercise for the last 3 weeks of july. Going to try to go with the Bernie Hatton ride setup day.
