Just ordered the V4 Speciale

Well the V4 had me at Hello! I love my 1299SA but I fell for the new girl hard........Looking forward to breaking her in... Hmmmm is it just me or does that sound naughty???? LOL

Cool. Did your dealer say when it was arriving? I was told the speciales are delayed, from may to July now.

I was told the Speciale was in demand and if you're putting your order in now there is a possibility you won't get one....... Just what my dealer was telling me.

They were talking end of April/ May. Which is fine for me. I have plenty of ladies to ride and the anticipation always keeps me going. Lol

My dealer is allotted one so I purchased that one. It won't be a problem. It was much harder to get my 1299SA with there only being 500.

At today... only 80 of 1500 SPECIALE are just aviable...

Lucky you. At my dealer, my buddy gave the deposit bank draft to the sales team a week before the unveiling, to hold it. The day after the unveiling, at 9am, my buddy called the dealer to put it through. No one else stood a chance! LOL...

just my opinion the anniversary or SA as you call it is the nicest looking bike. no other ducati comes close at any price. In stock form of course

I agree.... I love mine for sure. Super Sexy but the V4 engine and the sound is what sucked me in. I'm not sold on the looks BUT she sure is not the ugliest girl out there.....

just my opinion i will never get a first run ducati again. plus i want to see the R i would hate to get the special and next year the R blows it out of the water at the same price.

the real debate will be get the r which has to be 1000cc machine or the v4 which is currently 1285 cc machine. the TI faster component motor vs the extra CC. who knows. the debate can still be had with the 1299 vs the R even though ducati played with HP numbers what would you want the R or the 1299 with the extra displacement. decisions decisions. im ready though.

Congrats on the Speciale, im hoping to see her in real life this saturday at the bike show but i doubt it will be there. Ive only seen pics and shes purrddy. And since this is the Duc forum i cant just simply leave without shitting on you so F you and all your sweet bikes

I'm going with the no replacement for displacement deal..... For the street I don't want an R.... I have track bikes this girl is for the street for me.
