Decided to ditch the RG tank sliders since all it covers is a edge of the tank

I ordered these instead.. 5 sets of them :) so if anyone wants one let me know, it would save you plenty on shipping from Italy

Good job . The RG tank sliders are useless . I have bought a set from Lance (Kneedragger ) they work great .

depends what you define as easy lol, but yes I use the (aquariam sealent that comes with the RG sliders)

thanks wilkson!

i'm on the fence with the new termi exhaust, i just can't decide if i like them and whether they are better then the Akra

Are you getting the new R and and why are you replacing your existing R (i'm in the same position)

I built a second R from scratch, from parts off the internet which is a race bike as well.

Havent put deposit down on the 15 R yet

I have the 13 R almost to completion and the 14R just needs an exhaust

The new termi in theory looks promising in the since that it will be less exhaust piping to flow out from front vs making a u turn and coming out the rear. keep in mind from history shows us Termi and Carbon canisters just dont last long.. get brittle and burn and fall apart as im sure if anyone on here had a 1098 848 and modded it

Always hustling! I like it

This video put me off the carbon Termignoni system. It looks as though the exhaust gases exit forwards past the front wheel. I guess it might make more power but I cab't see it being aerodynamically efficient at higher speeds.

At speed the wind sheer coming around the front wheel and down from the upper body panels will push the exhaust gases down and out not forward.

thats true, I meant more about how the piping was routing on the older cans vs this new setup exiting up front. ofcourse still pushing gases to the back of the bike

Sorry that was replying to SPJ worrying about it shooting out front.
