Thanks Duck41 for the video clips of the AR exhausts. Damn, that high mount especially sounds downright antisocial - which means it's PERFECT!

Too bad that Rich had to be such an ...... on this forum. His exchanges (and his alter-ego) were so piss-poor that I will never buy one of his products, no matter if it becomes the "new Akra"...

test rode it yesterday.....With it being double demerits in NSW, I was sensible....couldn't really do it justice....however in my 30 min ride in traffic I could tell it would be a lot of fun....reserving full judgement at moment but loved the seating position and the torquey engine.

Going to ride it again this weekend at another dealer with better roads nearby......

looks like I could have a buyer for the Panigale.....am I making the right decision??????.....1290 immediately....then consider 899r for track fun in a year or so.....

Dunno man . The Panigale is a great machine but for me I will pick the KTM 9 times out of ten when I was going for a ride .
I seriously love this KTM maybe is new love but it just puts a smile on my face every time I ride it .
Just fitted up a set of slicks taking it to the track this week .

thats a very favourable review...I think it ticks more boxes for me....just won't have the same special feel as the Pani...I do think I'll ride it more which ultimately is what I want to be doing..getting out there on the bike longer without burnt leg and sore arse....:rolleyes

Might spend the week looking at what power parts to order....seeing the Pani go will be tough.....but it won't be the last one I own...hell if I don't like it I can trade up to the R from s or even the SL if the lotto numbers come up....

Have you got your full akra yet? is it still due in May?
 
The pipe is due around May . Have fitted rear sets and few other bits and pieces it's not lacking power with the standard zaust .
Can't wait to fit the full system .

Track was a wash out today so didn't get a chance to punch it around the track .
If you do choose to get the KTM you will not be disappointed .

procycles have 2 - one in the hornsby store and one in their St Peters store - both orange. The Newcastle dealer told me shipment due in July?

Not too many dealers for KTM road bikes around in NSW...I also seen on bike sales a black one for sale in Perth. Someones funds fell through...dealer will ship at customers cost. I haven't decided whether to wait till July or grab one of the orange ones now going to go in on Saturday and sort it out then..

Grab it now . The July shipment is sold out . Next shipment next year.
