Just saw the 1299 full Akrapovic system at my dealers.

I'm going to try the system with the Ducati upmap and if it's not quite right, I'll contact RapidBike and get a race unit on there to see if that will get the fueling spot-on.

That's the previous EVO system I already have that on my 14 R. It's not what you will be getting (unless you go to Akra, or specifically ask for the non-homologated, as I'm sure it's still available), it will actually be the homologated version for this years R (below) which seems to be matt.

I've already done this with no problems whatsoever. Full Akra, full Ducati Termi up-map.

You'll be grinning like a .... as soon as you pull away, it's fantastic!!

That's the new DP Akra Full System I posted in the pic. Look at the can :D It says Akrapovic Ducati Performance on it.
 
Does anyone know the difference between the homologated Akras on the R and the Akra Evo system?

I will have to come up with another name for the Ducati, since my S1000RR was named The Kraken by some of the guys I race with... The Volcano? Stentor if it's really loud? (look it up), The Demon? Suggestions gladly accepted... :D

You could always do what my daughter does when her goldfish die and add a 2or 3 behind the original name! LOL

Awesome!. My local dealer has one, but initial price is close to list. $4879.86 with tax. I am hoping they can do better as I am also buying the bike....
 
Based on the part number 96480761A, which my dealer provided, Ducati Accessories indicates this is for 1299 or 1299s. I am not sure if this will cross over to the 1199 as I have heard and read there are some slightly different mounting points, but can't confirm.
 
What's the difference between this system and the one I have on my 1199r . It looks the same to me

The only difference (next to logo and up-map) seems to be the front mounting point, the Akra Evolution line full system uses a more forwarded bracket (which comes with the kit and makes it necessary to remove the servo motor for the flapper valve), where the DP Akra (full system and cans only) + the Akra cans only seems to have a different front mounting point design.

But I guess a non DP full Akra Evolution line will fit to 1299 w/o any problems using the same front mounting bracket.
