So I’m not crazy after all. Even the stock stainless pipes will blue?

Yes Stainless will blue from heat. Those are stock headers. The Full Akra doesn't have the exhaust valve you have in your photos also the welds are nicer on the Akra.

I think the Akrapovic carbon fiber heat shield looks really nice, plus of course the blue pipes

Im suprised they dont want to make it right when you mentioned to them ? As in at least give you some $$$ back or something?
