Of coarse it was. Keep in mind that it was a defensive comment based on what "styler," commented though "

Am I the only one that took that as a smart comment? Either way I found it offensive, you dont know me so dont be smart with me. I'm not here to play little games and see who has smarter comments. I am only here to give to the community and receive valid honest answers in return, thats all.

I know my character and I NEVER insult anyone first, I will ALWAYS defend myself though.

I can relate - we are alike in some ways. I have also owned seven Corvettes, my last a 2009 Z06. :D

Eddie - I made a ribbing comment as well. If you had said early on you were trying to get the best possible quarter mile whilst keeping the wheel down, none of those comments would have appeared (not excusing them completely). In general, for a high end bike like the Panigali, not understanding why it wheelies, is akin to how to just start a lessor bike. :D

And I promise not let the fact you owned so many Chevy's before the Panigale lower my opionion of you in any way. :)

I wonder how long before someone decides to put in a swingarm extention on the 1199 ><

People can talk up a big game about the 1199 but yet I have had only one bike walk me on the street ;) Still have a few others to race that are big league bikes. We shall see soon.

I ve always wondered why one would feel the urge to get into a discussion with some hillibbily bent on avoiding any education. Let alone taking it to a dragstrip. Isn t it preferable to concetrate on learning to ride ones bike to do it justice. And that will be on a track, where there is so much to be learned. If you want to trash them in a straight line : get the 41 tooth and do a rolling start from 40mph in second . Should be better on the clutch as well. And i m sorry but if you weigh 200 pounds, youl prb not win from anyone weighing 120 ..

Have fun !

I appreciate that. Even I can't believe it - makes me feel a bit like a redneck NASCAR fan drinking Boones Farm.

I don't know how you guys ride in Arkansas but here in Florida we ride HARD, balls to the wall baby. We really lay in it, no ..... half throttle .... here.

Ya; Ok, sure. You're cool
I lived in Florida for two years (horrible place) and I didn't even bother having a bike then. There are no curves or elevation changes; what's the point? (No, seriously.)

OK; now THAT was a smart-... comment; :) but, maybe you need to lighten up? Your original post said nothing of quarter mile times.
