]ok so I've been asked recently how i modified the kendon trailer. now i am not very mechanical but a friend of mine is. he made this set up and it is rock solid. we measured the original pit bull plate and made a steal frame. then we put (i don't know what they are called) what i would say looks like a sheath in the 4 spots where the screws go. that is to make it stronger. the diamond plate scared me so we put a piece of wood to make it stronger. didn't need the other side cause it goes off the trailer.
the outer bar leaves a space so it needed a steal shim or the plate would bend upward and not secure the bike. the shim was 1/4 of an inch made everything flat. the steal was welded and a perfect fit. here is the picture of the underside of the trailer. hope this helps.
