I was kind of hoping they would display a lap time for the Lambo, then have him hop on the 1199R and do a lap time that BEAT the Lambo.
Now THAT would have been cool.

Thanks for sharing. Love that car, mostly because of that motor.
Besides satisfying Ferdinand Piëch's personal interest, I have no idea what Audi/VW gets from owning Ducati.
On a track like Imola (that's what it looked like)? It wouldn't have even been close. Too many tight chicanes and climbing sweepers that put the huge power-to-weight ratio advantage of the bike to good use.
My bet would be at least 15 seconds. And that would be with a pro driver of Dovisioso's equal ability. The Italians know that and Lamborghini wouldn't have their crown jewel shamed in such a way and never would have provided the car. No magazine, especially an Italian one, would ever draw the ire of such an important car company either.
Cars suck - simple.
Haha, are you reading from the press release? Because that's exactly what the acquisition announcement said.High output experience in small engines.....
car are faster in tight turns, aren't they??
i guess you dont have to win in moto gp to get the perks. really nice
Haha! Well, they didn't show him driving away from the track with it. Thing is, he can actually afford to buy one and I bet they would give him a good deal. For less money, I'd take a McLaren 12C and be happy...
McLaren is far less emotional but i can see where you are coming from.

Good joke if that's what you meant. If not, I'll elaborate on my first comment.
