he comes from Harley btw and probably thinks Harley's sounds "manly". When you compare things with the terms "Manly" vs "Unmanly"...you know there is some kind of a insecurity issue. What a joke of a guy. I think pani was his first superbike.

You are probably right i did come from a Harley and that may have influenced what i think a super bike should all sound like v4 or straight 4 :)

It's only my opinion don't let it hurt your feelings - my opinions mean eff all.

Yes I believe it is.

Alpha Male, instead of trading your bikes in right away, why don't you invest in riding schools and some track time to learn how to ride these bikes proper. Better than buying pipes for your bike and guaranteed to put a bigger smile on your face.

I live in a police state and surrounded by globalists that's out to make profit on anyone living in our country: track days costs are a joke where i live :) I am not a fake Rossi wannabe so there's no point in going to the tracks :)

Like i said we only do street riding :)

We live in a gay world where we are not allow to voice our opinion because it might hurt someone's feelings so we have to be always politically correct - well eff that i am not going to be gentle in how i feel about the v twin sound on a pani - like i said i prefer v4 sound :) and if a pani comes out with a v4 i am going to trade my bike in straight away :)

How much? I normally look at around $200 U.S. For a trackday plus the travel and expenses.
Riding schools are worth every penny by increasing your skills and survival rate on the roads.
I depend on my drivers license for my living so I don't fool around on public roads. Happy to pay the track fees when I get the urge.

I don't know how close the tracks are to you but depending on the organization, doing volunteer cornerworking can get you some free or discounted laps on the track.

Still cheaper than getting your bike impounded and hokey pokey time.

I don't know where this "Ducati needs to go to a V4 to stay competitive" or "they can't do any more with a Twin" and all of that kind of .... came from. I see that all the time on this forum (and only on this forum, I never see comments like that on generic or racing forums). I have never read those types of comments from announcers nor read any of them in magazines.

The Panigale is one of, if not THE best bike on the WSBK grid (the announcers often say it is the best bike on the grid). Not to mention it is never down on top speed to any of the other bikes.

As it is now, they have to constantly restrict engine power, even on the straightaways, with electronics because the rear tire cannot maintain traction and the front wheel cannot stay on the ground.

More HP would just equal more electronic intervention.

You are also forgetting a very important aspect of the Twin...mechanical grip. The Duc can get away with a little less electronics and has better tire wear (and more grip in the rain) due to the way the motor puts the power down (pulses).

Personally, I love a V4 motor and wouldn't mind if Ducati went to one. But to think they "need" to go to one is just silly.

Your common sense is not required in this thread . Unless you have something stupid to say just shut the .... up .

In my worthy opinion i think the V4 sound is so sexy sound like a girl cumming if you know what i mean :)

The Aprilia v4 omfg when ever i hear it i just cant help .... myself :)

In Australia if you want your Pani to sound sexy you have to spend almost $5000 for a slip on :(

The information I put up came from a former Ducati World Champion who has very strong ties with Ducati, so i am pretty sure there is no ........ in it and I have no reason to ........ as i shook my head in disbelief as well, but it is definitely the way Ducati is going to go.

I was also told 4 yrs in advance that Rossi was going to Ducati and nobody believed me when i posted that on Crash,net......so lets just wait and see shall we :D

Well Troy isn't going to talk to you anymore if you spread it all over the wibbly wobbly web is he :D

I'm sure Rossi was not decided on a switch to Ducati four years before. They were probably talking to his management each year trying to start negotiations.

It's not Troy . I just rang him and he said he hasn't been talking . I don't know anything about a V4 is what he said .
I'm dropping around at Caseys tomorrow for a quick beer I bet it was him .
