A) Note the color, that's not standard, it's titanium

B) The front has a wider fender and different fork stays, also not standard

Specs and literature I'm sure will be available on release

Seriously dude. That material could be ANYTHING. Additionally your looking at a "concept bike". Man I could make a ton of money selling you stuff.

Nope, it's the unveil for the customers who have pre-ordered and been invited to the factory last week. I have pictures of the finished production bikes (yes, plural).

And correct me if I'm wrong but someone chime in here. Didn't Ducati have an 1199 silver tank bike at a show with superbike parts? FGR forks, billet masters, the works? As the SL before the 1199 SL came out? I know there are pics of that bike in the Ducati booth. The consumer bike hit the showroom with none of those parts

Mutt is Santa bringing one of these vaporleggera's for Christmas? I certainly hope he does so I can deposit a gigantic poop all over it. If not, maybe they will have plastic model with a Titanium display stand you could get.

Note the 1299 SL wheels........ it's the 1299 SL

Why I won't show you is because someone who shared them with me has asked me not to share them. Out of respect for his request and in gratitude for showing me I think it only fair that I meet his request.

........... Incidentally I also know how much quicker it is than the 1199 SL around the Mugello circuit at first test

Yea I know champ. I saw those wheels at BST long before you ever did. You know the biggest difference, I get to go to the garage every day and ride a bike that has all the good stuff while you sit there and drool over some blurry photos and listen to glorified war stories about your dream bike. Time to let it go man. Seriously get a better job and go get some reality my friend. Living vicariously through others only leads to resentment.

Last one and I'm out. You give me 85k which is what I believe the asking price is for the 1299 vaporleggera and I will crush that over hyped, over priced factory rip off and have enough money left over to buy Mutt a lifetime supply of tissue, rim stickers and colored valve caps and probably a Ducati 1299 Vaporleggera Owners Club t shirt. Now I'm going to eat Bon bons and plan the next project.

I lied. One more. Take a look at the front wheel on this "leaked photo" I see a stock black leg Ohlins SL fork. Stock 1299 rotors. Stock 1299 calipers. The rear has the stock brake rotor same nut as the SL and I would bet my ... that thing has the stock OEM Brembo on the rear as well. I see BST wheels that will be available for 3850.00. Please tell me this is not the parts list your getting on an $85,000.00 bike.

I think we should wait for the specs .. let's not forget this bike has 2 years warranty and same service intervals as the 1299 .. ciao

Got given some very good information over the weekend and the information comes from a Ducati World Champion..... No more twin Superbikes, the SL is the last.

Ducati are going to the V4 and it will be available to the public as the standard future superbike.

No SL but I'll be hanging on to my Anniversario. Glad I got it. I guess my R model will be the V4 in a few years. I'm sure it'll be prettier than the Aprillia.

i am happy that ducati is keep making cool bikes and i cant wait to see this new v4 in the future. i am sure i will get a new v4 R as well when it comes out.

This had not be some bs lol i will definitely trade my bike in for sure i cant stand the sound of my bike it sound stupid and unmanly - almost bought an Aprilia because it has that sexy sound

but the bike was too ugly (very old school 1980ish bike) compared to a Pani

so i couldn't bring myself down to that gutter level of buying an ugly bike.

Sorry Aprilia owners ....

There's nothing more intoxicating than the sound of a twin ridden in anger. The V4 sound will be lacking in my opinion.

I love the pani but i can't stand the sound

i love straight 4 and v4 sound

he comes from Harley btw and probably thinks Harley's sounds "manly". When you compare things with the terms "Manly" vs "Unmanly"...you know there is some kind of a insecurity issue. What a joke of a guy. I think pani was his first superbike.
